Providing regular monthly financial assistance and care to hundreds of families, and individuals is quite a demanding task, and only through God’s grace and the generosity of so many people has the NCF managed to finance its activities for so many years.

Our main source of income comes from our sponsors, who make regular contributions directly to the Families in Need, Orphan Assistance, and Caring for the Disabled Programs.

NCF also holds three annual fund raising events in Sydney Australia which are blessed by His Grace Bishop Daniel: the annual dinner, day of the Poor and Carols by Candlelight. All funds raised from these activities go directly towards financing NCF assistance programs.

Carols by Candlelight

An evening of Christmas carols, songs and presentations, shared by all the diocese churches, in celebration of the feast of the Nativity. Tickets for this event are normally sold through the Coptic Orthodox parishes in Sydney.

Day of The Poor

NCF holds an annual fete and barbeque each year at the Coptic Centre in Macquarie Fields. This family event is held on the Labour Day public holiday in October. With various events throughout the day, including a soccer competition and fun rides for the kids, the day is thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Annual Dinner

Each year a dinner is held in order to raise funds for special projects of the NCF. The formal dinner is a social event for people to meet and enjoy each others company as well as take part.

Other NCF fund raising activities include publishing books, and audio visual media that are sold throughout Parish bookshops across Australia.
